SDCL, founded in 2007, is a UK-based alternative investment firm which manages SDCL Energy Efficiency Income Trust PLC (“SEEIT”), an investment company listed on the London stock exchange (LON: SEIT)
SEEIT has invested over £600 million in energy efficiency and distributed energy generation assets in the UK, Continental Europe and North America
Blackstone, SEEIT and Onyx Relationship
In December of 2020, SEEIT acquired a 50% interest in Onyx from Blackstone, which will continue to hold the remaining 50%
Blackstone & SEEIT provides Onyx with financial resources to capture renewable energy opportunities. Onyx functions as a platform for Blackstone Energy Partners’ development and ownership of renewable energy projects in North America
