I serve on as a Senior Project Engineer on the Onyx EPC team, overseeing all design aspects and production modeling of solar and storage projects throughout its lifetime. Previously, I worked on research on novel battery solutions integrated with solar thermal technology through my time at the University of Leeds. I also have experience in hybrid diesel solar off grid solutions during my time working in the United Arab Emirates. This varied experience gives me the right tools to provide innovative solutions for our customer’s sustainable energy ecosystems.

My role is to support the EPC team and all aspects of the solar project from origination to PTO.

After honorably serving as a US Navy Seabee, I have had vast operation support experience in the property management and packaging industry. Prior to Onyx, I worked in the residential solar sector for Sunrun.

My role is to assist the Origination team in identifying and sourcing new business opportunities and to support existing opportunities through research, project underwriting, and data analysis.

Previously, I interned with Siemens’s Energy and Sustainability Consulting Group and then continued as a part-time consultant during my senior year of college. Prior to that, I received a grant from Northwestern to independently research the viability of New York’s climate legislation, which followed an internship at Morgan Stanley.

In my role as a Senior Director, Project Management, I have over 10 years of experience in the renewable energy and construction industry. I have built and managed over 240 MW of solar projects varying from large-scale utility, commercial rooftops, carports and battery energy storage systems.

Prior to joining Onyx Renewable Partners, I worked at Helix Electric as a Senior Project Engineer, assisting in all phases of the construction projects. I have worked closely with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver successful projects.

My role here at Onyx is to prepare financial reports, perform research and analysis, maintain the general ledger, perform account reconciliations, prepare all monthly invoices for PPA, EPC, SREC, and O&M billings, assist with audit preparations, and carry out other accounting duties as may be required.

Previously, I served as an Accountant at The Georgetown Company, a privately-held diversified real estate company, and had 7 years of accounting and auditing experience where I maintained and oversaw in excess of 25 million square feet of office, residential, retail and recreational properties and controlled assets with a value of over $3 billion.

I am a member of the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. and currently working on my CPA in New Jersey.

My role is to manage and oversee the financial reporting as well as the accounting and tax functions at Onyx.

In my role, I am responsible for lead generation, project analysis, contract negotiations, and overall department strategy. I serve as the lead contact for various channel partner relationships and strategic ventures - all in an effort to help grow our business.

Prior to joining Onyx, I worked at YSG Solar, a New York based solar development firm, and was responsible for greenfield development of C&I and Community Solar projects throughout New York and the rest of the U.S. Northeast.

After a career in Napa Valley’s world-renowned wine industry, I pivoted to renewable energy with the goal of turning esoteric sustainability goals into actionable energy resiliency strategies. I have developed solar PV and PV+ microgrid projects for the world’s most luxurious brands, wineries, and fromage producers. Additionally, I have worked with California’s prestigious universities, K-12 schools, and local governments.

When not helping organizations go green and off-grid, I enjoy cycling, cooking, making wine with friends and volunteering for Napa Valley’s Transportation Authority.

Prior to Onyx, I spent the last eight years working in various executive roles in project management, development and operations roles at Safari Energy, Trina Solar, ForeFront Power and Sunpower. Prior to that, I held various engineering and operations positions at companies in Egypt, including the DMG Dar Al Mimar Group.

My role is to lead the Onyx Asset Management team in its mission to drive high-quality operations and achieve optimized performance of the clean energy assets under its care.

As a renewable energy veteran of nearly 20 years, I have experience in solar energy asset management and wind energy project development. Previously, I managed portfolios of commercial and utility-scale solar facilities for TerraForm Power and SunEdison. Prior to my asset management experience, I was a Project Developer for a world leader in wind energy, Iberdrola Renewables (currently Avangrid Renewables), where I spearheaded utility-scale wind energy development projects.

My role spans pre-construction project planning, diligence, and execution. I work closely with the commercial and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Previously, I worked in renewable energy finance roles at Aiga Capital Partners, PLEXUS Solutions, and Standard Solar. I have engaged in greater than $500mm in debt, M&A, and tax equity transactions for solar, wind, and energy storage project developers and owner-operators. In these transaction-oriented roles, I have worked closely with development, legal, and technical teams on project, portfolio, and platform due diligence. I started my career as a financial statement auditor at KPMG.

I am a Senior Interconnection Project Manager with over a decade experience in the renewable energy space, working for both developers and utilities. I am passionate about renewable energy and believe sustainable energy is vital for the future and climate change.

I believe in having strong working relationships with my utility counterparts as well as internal team members to have the most productive work environment. I have assisted in helping PTO over 100MW of PV, Battery, and Fuel Cell projects over my development career and hope to turn on many more systems with Onyx. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family and being active in my various hobbies.

As Director of Procurement, I develop comprehensive procurement strategies to support the company’s portfolio of investments in sustainable generation as we aim to create innovative customer-centric solutions for our valued clients.

I previously worked at Entergy as the Senior Supply Chain Project Lead in Customer Innovation for Key String Labs pilots and products. I am an expert in supply chain processes, a vendor relationship manager who maintains key connections with companies that supply products and services for emerging technology such as public charging, efleet, emobility, power generation and green digital solutions. I was the Chair of the multicultural resource group which allowed me to share my different cultural background experience with various organizations across Entergy to create a more inclusive workplace. We are all a work in progress; and we shouldn’t be afraid to let our personal experiences make us better professionals.

With over 9 years of accounting and finance experience and 6 years of experience in wind and solar renewables, I strive to partner with clients to manage their clean energy solutions.

My role as Technical Asset Manager is to ensure the highest performance and reliability of a diverse portfolio of distributed generation solar assets for Onyx’s clients.

Previously, I managed special projects for one of the nation’s leading third-party O&M providers, and prior to that, I managed branch operations for a well-established residential solar electric company.

With over 10 years in the solar industry, I’ve helped commercial and residential clients achieve energy independence through customized solutions.

As Director of Project Management, I am responsible for the installation of solar projects across the US, from pre-construction through final completion. I oversee all aspects of construction including quality control, permitting, build schedules, safety, budgets, and best practices for installation.I immediately discovered my passion for the solar industry when I started my career 11 years ago as an installer at a residential solar firm in New Orleans, LA. From there, I continued to develop my career at American Solar Partners and PowerFlex before joining Onyx in the spring of 2022.

My role as Chief Legal Officer is to oversee the legal functions of Onyx Renewables and support all of our teams to keep their processes compliant, efficient and in line with market standards.

I have been in the renewables and energy sector for over 20 years. I was most recently Chief Financial Officer at HomeWorks Energy, a Boston-based energy efficiency company, where I ran the finance and legal functions. I also served as Vice President, Finance for Noble Environmental Power, a private equity-backed wind energy owner/operator, and as Managing Director for American Electric Power. Earlier in my career I was a corporate attorney with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.

My role is to oversee the accounts payable process and T&E functions at Onyx.

I previously worked in the media industry at Imagination and Omnicom Media Group with 6 years of AP experience as an Jr Accounts Manager, where I also where managed all invoice processing, travel and expenses, corporate spending accounts, and vendor/supplier relations.

As SVP of Finance, my role is to lead Onyx’s Capital Markets activities.

Prior to Onyx, I worked at Cubico Sustainable Investments in the Origination & Execution (M&A) function. Before Cubico, I had a 24+ year career at GE Capital, the bulk of which was as a part of the Energy Financial Services business, with leadership roles across both debt and equity in the principal investment and portfolio management teams, both domestic and outside the US.

My experience includes renewable and thermal energy generation, transmission and natural resources.

As a Senior Project Developer, I support the Origination, Engineering and Construction teams with project due diligence throughout the full project lifecycle.

Previously, I worked on the project development team at UGE International. I spent the majority of my time there developing portfolios of ground mounted community solar projects across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Prior to UGE, I worked in business development for Fuse Energy Group. At Fuse, I spent time enrolling MA small businesses in the MA community solar program and helped local businesses manage their energy spend through fixed electricity pricing.
